REMEMBERING DON

That friendly smile, that glow of friendship, the love of life, those deep rich tones of a very good barbershop bass !  Yep, that was Don Duncan. Years of service in the advancement  of four part harmony, society and chorus promotion,  an all round great friend. Was Don always a calm agreeable kind of guy ? NOPE, and you better have your best argument forward if you wanted to win the day with Don.  And we loved him for it, AND we looked forward to his wit and delighted in his moxy when the true feisty Scot came out of him.  Aye !!

Don was a dedicated member of PAPPYS and over the past 20 odd years,  I’m not sure that he ever missed a meeting.  We looked forward to sharing a song together and will truly miss him.

Saint Peter  may very well be licking his wounds after the first question he posed to Don, whatever that question might have been !   I’d be willing to bet a beer  that  Don had a quick comeback that  rocked the heavenly gates.
